Turn on two-step verification

Two-step verification adds a second check when you sign in, so nobody can get into your account with just your email.

Turn it on#

1. In Nexcified Client, open Account settings › Security and select Turn on.
2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password.
3. Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm.
4. Save your backup codes somewhere safe, such as a password manager. Each one works once if you lose your phone.

From now on, after your email code you'll also enter the code from your app.

Lost your phone?#

Sign in with one of your backup codes, then turn two-step verification off and on again with your new phone. No backup codes? Contact support and we'll verify your identity before resetting it.

We email you whenever two-step verification is turned on or off, so you'll know if anyone else tries.
