01What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Websites also use similar technologies, such as local storage, to remember information on your device. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company's service on that website are third-party cookies. Some cookies last only until you close your browser (session cookies); others stay for a set time (persistent cookies).

02How we use cookies

We group cookies by purpose:

  • Strictly necessary: needed for the website and apps to work and to keep them secure, for example remembering your cookie choice, keeping you signed in to Nexcified Client, protecting forms against bots and keeping a live chat open as you move between pages. These are always on.
  • Preferences: remember choices that make the website more convenient, such as your region.
  • Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it, for example which pages are most useful. We only use analytics tools with your consent.
  • Marketing: measure the results of our advertising on other websites. We only use them with your consent.

03Your choice

When you first visit nexcified.co, we ask whether you accept optional cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always on; everything else stays off unless you say yes. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the website works fully either way.

You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. We remember your choice for 12 months, then ask again, or sooner if we add new types of cookies.

To show that we respect your choice, we keep an anonymous record: a random consent ID, the date and what you chose. It is not linked to your name or IP address.

05Third-party services

Some cookies are set by trusted providers that help us run the website:

  • Cloudflare protects our websites and forms against bots and attacks. Its security cookies are strictly necessary.
  • Google Analytics helps us understand website usage, only if you allow analytics cookies.
  • Advertising partners (such as Google and LinkedIn) measure the results of our ads, only if you allow marketing cookies.

These providers process information under their own privacy policies. Where they act for us, they are bound by data processing terms.

06Our apps

Nexcified Client and Nexcified Pay use only strictly necessary cookies and storage, for example to keep you signed in securely, remember your theme and protect payments. They do not use advertising cookies.

07Controlling cookies in your browser

As well as using our cookie settings, you can view, block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Each browser explains how in its help pages.

If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of our websites won't work properly, for example signing in to Nexcified Client and sending some forms.

Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" or similar signals. Because optional cookies are off unless you allow them, you don't need these signals to stop optional tracking on our website.

08Changes to this policy

We update this policy when we change the cookies we use. The table above always shows the current list. If we add a new category of optional cookies, we will ask for your consent again.
