DNS records tell the internet where your website and email live. If your nameservers point to Nexcified, you can manage them in Hosting › Domains › DNS records in Nexcified Client.
Common record types
| Type | Used for | Example |
|---|---|---|
| A | Points a name to a server's IP address | @ → 209.126.1.122 |
| CNAME | Points a name to another name | www → yourdomain.com |
| MX | Where email for the domain is delivered | @ → yourdomain.com (priority 0) |
| TXT | Verification and email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) | v=spf1 ... |
Add or change a record
- Open Hosting › Domains › DNS records and choose the domain.
- Select Add record, or edit an existing one.
- Save. Most changes work within minutes, but some networks take up to 24 hours.
Verifying a service
Google, Microsoft 365, Meta and other services often ask you to add a TXT or CNAME record to prove you own the domain. Copy the value exactly as given, with no extra spaces.
Careful: Changing MX records moves where your email is delivered, and deleting A records can take your website offline. If you're unsure, ask support first.
