Making a backup yourself
Before a big change (a redesign, plugin update or file clean-up), take your own backup:
- In Nexcified Client, open Hosting › Backups.
- Select Create backup.
- You'll get an email when it's ready. The backup is saved in your hosting account.
Restoring
- Open Hosting › Backups.
- Choose the backup and select Restore for files, a database or email.
- Restoring replaces the current version with the backed-up one, so download anything you want to keep first.
Not sure which backup you need, or something has gone badly wrong? Open a support request with priority High. We'll restore it for you.
Tip: Keep your own copy of important backups. Download them from Hosting › Backups now and then and store them somewhere safe.
