Plan limits

Each plan has limits for storage, websites, email accounts and databases. See Hosting plans compared. You can check your usage on Hosting › Overview in Nexcified Client.

If you're getting close to a limit, we'll let you know. You can then clean up old files and email, or move up a plan.

Why a hosting account is suspended

A suspended website shows a "suspended" page instead of your site. Email may also stop. It happens for one of these reasons:

ReasonWhat to do
Unpaid renewalPay the invoice. Your service is switched back on automatically within minutes. See Failed payments.
Security problemA hacked site or malware is suspended to protect your visitors and other customers. We'll contact you with the details and help you clean it up.
AbuseSpam, phishing or illegal content breaks our terms of service.
OveruseA site using far more server resources than its plan allows, affecting others.

We always explain why and how to fix it, by email and in Nexcified Client. If you think it's a mistake, contact support straight away.
