Moving from another host is free when you take a yearly hosting plan, and we do the work for you.
What we need from you
- Login details for your current host's control panel (cPanel, Plesk or similar), or a full backup file
- Access to your domain registrar (or your DNS provider)
- A list of email addresses you use on the domain
Send these through a support request, not by email or chat.
How the move works
- Copy: we copy your website, databases and email accounts to Nexcified.
- Test: we check the site on our server before anything changes for your visitors.
- Switch: we update your DNS (or tell you exactly what to change). See Connect your domain.
- Email: we copy existing mail so nothing is lost, and send you new device settings if they've changed.
- Check: we confirm everything works, then you can cancel your old hosting.
Most moves are finished within 1–2 working days with no downtime.
Tip: Don't cancel your old hosting until we confirm the move is complete. Some visitors may reach the old server for up to 24 hours while DNS updates.
