If a renewal can't be charged, here's exactly what happens. Your service keeps running during a 7-day grace period, and the payment link never stops working.
| Day | What happens |
|---|---|
| Day 0 | The charge fails. We email you with a link to pay. |
| Day 2 | We try your card again (and your backup card, if you have one). |
| Day 3 | A reminder by email and text message. |
| Day 5 | A final retry and email reminder. |
| Day 7 | If it's still unpaid, the service is paused. |
Getting your service back
Pay the invoice by card, bank transfer or OPay from the link in any of our emails, or from Invoices & payments. Your service is switched back on automatically as soon as payment is confirmed, and your receipt confirms it. Nothing is deleted while a service is paused.
Common reasons a card fails
- Not enough funds, or a daily spending limit
- The card has expired or been replaced
- Your bank blocked an international or online payment. Call your bank to allow it, or pay by transfer.
Having trouble paying? Talk to us at billing@nexcified.co before day 7. We can usually help, including splitting the payment.
